My path so far

My profound fascination with East Asian cultures and philosophies, along with my passion for working with and for the body, eventually led me to Chinese medicine and the profession of Heilpraktiker (profession similar to naturopath). After completing my Heilpraktik training at Samuel-Hahnemann-Schule and Heilpraktikerschule in Selbstverwaltung Bethanien from 2019 to 2022 in Berlin, I received my license to practice in December 2022. Since January 2022, I worked as an assistant and team member at BerlinAkupunktur (Berlin’s first community acupuncture clinic) before opening my own practice in July 2023. During my training, I specialized in acupuncture and Tuina (manual therapy in Chinese medicine) and obtained my Tuina Diploma from the AGTCM in February 2024. Since January 2023, I have been teaching Chinese medicine with a focus on acupuncture at the Samuel-Hahnemann-Schule.
My extensive experience in Kung Fu (Sa Feng Sect Style and Hung Gar Kuen), as well as my regular practice of meditation and Qi Gong, complement my ever-growing and evolving understanding of the body, mind, and soul. Even as a teenager, I was deeply immersed in dance and theater, developing a strong connection to movement and performing arts over the years. This reflects my lifelong passion for the interplay of body, mind, and culture.
I am a family and community-oriented person. Growing up in a large family and being rooted in the queer community today, holding space for others and engaging with emotions and life’s questions has always been a central part of my life. The natural inclination to care for others shaped me from a young age, making the step into therapeutic work an organic yet surprising development. Additionally, I am an admirer of the craftsmanship, mastery, and quality with which people pursue their passions—be it ceramics, modern art, theater, origami, healing practices, dance, writing, or research.

Personally I have long been intrigued by and engaged with human interaction—their emotions, social and physical dynamics, motivations, and needs. This curiosity led me to explore these topics in diverse ways: through academic study of art, craftsmanship, literature, culture, and society; through my own creative and artisanal endeavors; through self-reflection and self-cultivation; as well as relationship work and therapy. Between 2007 and 2014, I studied Nordic Studies, Media Studies, and Cultural Anthropology/Empirische Kulturwissenschaft in Tübingen, Stockholm, and Berlin. When intellectual work became a bit overpowering, I sought balance through carpentry, drawn to the tangible and physical aspects of working with my hands and body.
Now, as a Heilpraktiker specializing in Chinese medicine, I have found my (professional) home in therapeutic work.
